A conference for hundreds of guests, a large staff party or a corporate event with several programme elements? For events of this scale, you need space. You’ll also want to be able to adapt the venues to suit the programme and the number of guests.
You can do just that at The Dock in Breda. This industrial event venue comprises three different spaces and can accommodate events for between 80 and as many as 2,100 guests. From a business presentation to a full programme including dinner, entertainment and a party.
The Dock comprises three spaces: Harbour, Warehouse and Sunset Boulevard. Each space has its own character and can be used separately. Harbour is the largest event space and is suitable for events accommodating between 300 and 1,500 people. The space can be used for larger business meetings, presentations, staff parties and other corporate events. Warehouse is suitable for groups of 80 to 250 people. Its industrial look and warm atmosphere make this space ideal for corporate drinks receptions, dinners and parties, amongst other things. Sunset Boulevard is The Dock’s outdoor terrace and can accommodate between 80 and 350 people. The terrace can be used, for example, for corporate events, parties, barbecues and food truck events.
The rooms can also be combined. This allows you to allocate a separate space to each part of the programme. For example, guests can be welcomed in one room, then attend a main event, and round off the day with a dinner, drinks reception or evening party in another room.
We tailor the layout of the rooms to suit your event programme.
The spaces can be flexibly configured to include, for example, stages, presentation set-ups, dining arrangements, lounges and dance floors. Audiovisual equipment, lighting and sound can also be tailored to the desired set-up. This allows you to use different spaces and set-ups during a single event. A reception, presentation, dinner and evening party can each be held in their own dedicated space within The Dock.
We also tailor the catering to the programme and the time of day. For example, a business meeting might start with coffee and lunch, whilst for an evening event, a sit-down dinner, a buffet or drinks and canapés might be more appropriate. A barbecue or other catering concept is also an option. For larger events, we take into account the number of guests, the schedule and the venues being used. In this way, the catering becomes an integral part of the programme, ensuring that every moment is filled in an appropriate manner.
